Then why do we laugh way more often, are still happier, and better looking? 🤔

This is very true! The left is the party of trannies and degenerates. What's on the inside manifests on the outside.

Can we also point out that right-wing authoritarian is an oxymoron...

Right = small government + individualism. People say fascism is on the right because Hitler was nationalistic while completely mind-holing the left-wing ultra-nationalistic China. People say white nationalism is on the right because...I don't know...White people? It's on the left. The right believes in freedom of association.

Libertarians are the most anti-authoritarian group there is yet they share several beliefs with democrats like legalizing drugs, permissiveness towards sexual deviance and abortion, being non-religious, freedom for all kinds of obscenity, anti-militarism etc. The left-right paradigm is a deceptive snipe hunt for understanding politics because it can't be plotted out neatly on a chart as it's extremely subjective. It's better to leave the left-right categorization alone and only judge issues on their own merits, because the left-right paradigm does have some influence on people to accept or reject ideas based on where they believe they fall on the political spectrum; not the ideas alone.

"accept or deny beliefs based on where they believe they fall on the political spectrum"

Probably the biggest problem with democracy and esp 2 party system is the need to align all of society's issues into either left OR right. Not only does it reduce critical thinking on a per-issue basis it also strips each issue of nuance as the division comes down to unreconcilable regurgitation of the same conservative and liberal talking points.

Very few can really debate the actual issues when all they know is how to parrot what they heard on fox or cnn or breitbart or huffpost. And at that level of idiocy the two sides are not even debating the same points.

Only anarchists (the real ones, not the communist useful idiots) are to the right of libertarians.

Libertarians don't believe in all that (abortion for example is a net reduction in liberty once you consider the liberty of the child).

And yes Democrats support some right-wing ideas that are convenient for them. Republicans do the same with left-wing ideas. Legalizing drugs is still a "right wing" idea for example. Just like the left supports freedom of speech as long as you stay within their boundaries - they support legalizing drugs as long as you go along with all their other crap like having to pay for the poor decisions of others. Overall they are still authoritarians and that's what drives their positions, but sometimes a right-wing idea is beneficial to them and so they adopt it. Open borders would be another example.

Three political dimensions...

Progressive-Conservative
Authoritarian-Libertarian (govt power over individuals)
Regulations-Deregulation (govt power over organizations)

We've conflated the three categories. I'm conservative, libertarian by nature but understanding that only autocratic authoritarianism can save us now, and re-regulatory. The regulations have been written by big business, we need better.

Authoritarian nationalistic traditionalism is what they're talking about.

Here's how I see the left to right

Left to right is authoritarian to libertarian

Bottom to top is traditionalist to futurist

Traditionalist does not mean right wing. Nationalist does not mean right wing. Religion doesn't mean right wing. Small government and individualism does mean right wing. Maybe it wasn't always this way... Maybe the parties shifted... But that's how it appears to be to me.

Are you kidding me? The left is globalist and hates White people. Libertarianism is just extreme liberalism, which is a leftist, globalist ideology.

The whole debate about how "big" the government should be is a massive red herring.

The issue at hand is people and ideologies that are incompatible or hostile to our nation. Wanting "small government" means wanting no power... When only one side is seeking that, it means all the power goes to the other side.

It's also a means to become closer to Moloch, as well as sell some cheap metal at a ten thousand percent markup.

I never thought of it that way, but it makes sense.

'Cause we're not the authoritarians?

Pepe-von-Hayek 22 points ago +22 / -0

This.

However, they define "right wing authoritarians" as Orange Man and anyone who would vote for him over Sleepy Joe.

This is interesting when you consider the fact that Trump is hilarious, and even a good deal of Democrats can admit that he's funny, and the ones who can't admit it still watch liberal comedians fail at trying to imitate him and find it funny (although, to be fair, it's generally some of the least funny, most uncreative comedy you will see).

Oh, nice to see this. Thanks for pointing this out! Right-wing authoritarian is an oxymoron...
