Not required by the government doesn't mean businesses can't have their own policies. Unless there's a mandate preventing businesses from enforcing mask rules, they can still have their own mask policy.

Seriously more times than I can count now I've watched men and women take their masks off when they see ONE person not wearing it.

You can get anything online including fresh fruit, fresh eggs, potatoes, carrots, everything, rice and beans, and chicken and meat. And alcohol too if you drink it. You will have to rummage around various websites. Keep doing searches.
The delivery charges are instead of owning a car to drive to the store.

I made friends with farms outside the city and buy there. Moved nearly everything to that process. With hydro farms, they even produce when snow is on the ground.
ALSO: you can just make a seed rack, cheap way to eat is growing microgreens from seed and sprouts as well.
@OP I use "Freshly" for weekly meals so I don't have to go in the stores. I have no idea what their politics are, but maybe you could try a weekly meal service if your budget allows for it.

A few of these everyday in every store across the country might get them to start questioning if the benefits of mask wearing out weigh the negatives. My son is forced to wear one to play hockey and honestly, it is not a good thing. Very tough for them to breathe while skating and exerting themselves on the ice.
