I am smoll old lady pede, and I generally slip through my world barefaced and unchallenged. There is much compliance in my town, but significant non-compliance as well. I cringe reading about the lunacy and abuse experienced by others, but my town makes me feel a little bit hopeful. My town can't be the only one. There are pockets of sanity.
