put a shirt over your face. take deep breaths. discover logic for the first time in your life. now put plastic over your face. keep it there.

Are you suggesting that they can stop particles larger than any inividual gaps in the fibers if they come in at a decent velocity, then? You can't have the mask impact breathing and also have it be totally ineffective against viruses, because air is a whole lot smaller than a virus, let alone the significantly larger droplets masks are meant to catch.

it affects breathing. it also does not stop virus particles. people who can immediately figure out how these two are not mutually exclusive have given up trying to teach you other people anything. you can't learn.

just call me stupid and crazy and continue believing you're right. it's what you do.

Explain the difference, then, instead of going "ugh, educate yourself, bigot" like a leftist without an argument. It doesn't block virus particles because they're too small? Then how do they block far smaller air molecules? I'm not saying they block virus particles, by the way.
