Democrats trying to let their base down easy. When conviction fails they'll give them a worthless censure and tell them it's just as good as a conviction.

I think this is also a warning to any outsider thinking of trying to get into the upper echelon of polotics

Try as they might - if the American People WANT Trump in the White House, Trump will be in the White House.

Period.

All this kabuki theater is known by the American People to be unjust, illegal, and unconstitutional.

We aren't bound by unconstitutional laws and pronouncements.

They are thinking...

"Ooh! Look! Shiny Bauble/Fake law! Law and Order Sheeple just HAVE to follow it!"

...and banking on enough Americans to be gullible/ignorant enough to follow through...

Oh, I'm sure they will be able to bribe or blackmail a few more Republican senators.

That was my thought. They only need 7 more since 10 already went against him when rand Paul had that vote. 7 families threatened is all it would take

Doubt they would even bother threaten anyone. Probably just pay them under the table.

They are the minority, but have absolute power. They have media, big tech, the entire political establishment, sports, music, courts, fbi, doj. What can we do? It's crazy

Do you really think they are the minority? Because from where I'm standing.......

If you look past the elites and politicians us normal folks are definitely the majority

Out of the 330 million Americans yea I do. They just have the platform for their voices and we do not

I was just asking. I see a lot of goddamn lefties, that's all.

I feel you! I think it's because their rhetoric is being pushed everywhere. I also live in Florida and it isn't bad down here compared to other places. I feel bad for the conservatives in places like California, New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and the other blue states

If they use this, what will stop them from using it against EVERY candidate in the future who supports/agrees with Trump? They will say, "oh you're siding with a rebel, that's insurrection. I don't care what the voters said you can't hold office!"

This is exceptionally stupid, almost as dumb as Hillary's pied piper strategy because she wanted to face him in 2016. This unconstitutional attempt to ban him from office with a slim partisan majority will all but guarantee he'll run again in 2024 after this Stalinist purge attempt goes through the courts.

Honestly, all of the tricks these demons have pulled just firm my resolve to elect every person I can possibly find that makes President Trump look like child's play.

And I guess that's probably how it starts, isn't it.

It only takes a majority to pass as well
