Do you know the city of Key West, Florida - over which he has jurisdiction as Governor of the State of Florida - has mandatory mask requirements for all residents and visitors - whether they are indoors or outdoors. And the local police have arrested multiple people for not wearing masks.
DeSantis has done nothing to help the oppressed citizens of Key West. Stop pretending he is some fucking savior.

Coyote Tan/FDE uniform but forest green helmet/sling... that the bottom of his helmet lines up perfectly with the roof of the hummer (should be soothing but the color contrast jars me!)... drop leg (!) holster... FDE receiver/stock with black upper & gloves... and blue/red barrel!!... Humvee driver's mirror facing normal, passenger facing backwards... left and right tires reversed (tho I think I might've read this is intentional and mirrored on the rear for varying terrain conditions, but still, the sight of it -- aaah!!!)
Even for all of that, oh how I wish he were my governor. Count your blessings, Florida -- you've got a lot of them for now!
Dude I did the same thing. First thing I went to was DCUs with a plate carrier instead of IBA, followed by the complete lack of a helmet cover.
But then, I remembered a couple Navy EOD guys assigned to us with the same gear and it all made sense.
I remember during Desert Storm seeing pics of desert camo mixed eith woodland...you think with all the taxes they take from us they could at least keep all their camo coordinated.
