If it wasn't too late I'd fire the guy, he was not prepared and basically told the Senators that Trump lost the election and the people have spoken. The Senate needs to move on. Trump's pre-trail brief made a stronger argument than this guy did in person. No video, slides or anything showing how this was staged mostly by ANTIFA and left. Nothing about the election being stolen. WTF was this guy doing?
This is something im often repeating. Its not like you go into the swamp and can just hire a bunch of unicorns. Your selection of creatures is limited to those that survive in swamps. We are talking about hiring/firing hundreds to thousands of people. If all your advisors are swamp, you get more swamp. If they arent swamp, they face daily resistance and have no idea how to navigate the bureaucracy and everyone around them is swamp. You can fire everyone but that is now tens of thousands of people you have to replace that have no applicable experience.
IMHO, part of the problem is that the skills for hiring in the government sector to get results are totally different than the skills needed in the government sector to get results.
People in the government don't rise to prestige by what they accomplish, but by how political they are. The private sector tends to slowly weed solely political people out over time, because they are expensive to deal with, but in the government sector just the opposite is true.
Is that the lawyer who said they had to change their strategy because they didn't think the House had anything, but the House people made a really good case?
The House case is devoid of proof of the charges. It's about the feelings of people in Congress. That's not a case.
I agree 100%. His advisers were shit except for Bannon truthfully. Bannon didnt like Kushner which is why he was fired. Bannon calls out Henry Kissinger, the city of London bankers and East India trade company, and the party of Davos.
Bannon was an idiot who lost Sessions old seat. Navarro was awesome and his trade work he did with Trump was top notch. Who knows what Trump wants, but lawyers weren't exactly lining up to represent Trump as their firms were threatening most of them.
Part of it was that Roy Moore was a moron who sucked so bad that he lost in ruby red Alabama. Can't think of a worse campaign...except maybe Mondale '84.
While I don’t think Trump was literally screaming at his TV, I would be pissed too it I saw one of my people on the legal team talk about how much of a good guy he is.
How would he march down there with them? Do you have any idea how many people want Trump dead? If he didn't have bulletproof glass in front of him at all times, someone would have assassinated him by now.
Do you think the Secret Service would have allowed him to walk down there with the people? Huh? What would they do to keep him safe and alive? Would they have made him a pope mobile on the fly? Would they have had guys wheel the bulletproof glass down the street with him?
I'm sure if Trump had his way, then yes, he would have walked down there with them. But then he would have been shot by some psycho ANTIFA faggot or knifed.
There has never been a President that has survived so many assassination attempts before. He's thwarted at least 7 assassination attempts. People want to kill him. And if he walked down there, he would have been killed. 100% fact. So the SS telling him no was a good one.
He said that but people started forcing their way in to the Capitol before he had even finished speaking. I think he was planning on it before SHTF, and then everything fell apart.
This "journalism" is very suspect, or a retard wrote this.
Politico? Really??

Faaaaaaaaaaaake

Trump isn't bad at hiring people. It's just that maybe 0.01% of available people for the jobs he needed are actually good people. Swamp is swamp.

it's the first lawyer that spoke. he just rambled on and on and just kind of phoned it in.

Stephen Miller was a great hire too
The GOP intentionally threw the general election because they lost the primary.
Part of it was that Roy Moore was a moron who sucked so bad that he lost in ruby red Alabama. Can't think of a worse campaign...except maybe Mondale '84.
Sessions got more votes running unopposed in his election than the judge did. Republicans refused to vote for him and I don't blame them.
Or the really good ones are too afraid for their lives and livelihoods.
They always portray this about him. It never fails. It is a favorite story.
While I don’t think Trump was literally screaming at his TV, I would be pissed too it I saw one of my people on the legal team talk about how much of a good guy he is.
Use your brain.
