This is something im often repeating. Its not like you go into the swamp and can just hire a bunch of unicorns. Your selection of creatures is limited to those that survive in swamps. We are talking about hiring/firing hundreds to thousands of people. If all your advisors are swamp, you get more swamp. If they arent swamp, they face daily resistance and have no idea how to navigate the bureaucracy and everyone around them is swamp. You can fire everyone but that is now tens of thousands of people you have to replace that have no applicable experience.
Trump isn't bad at hiring people. It's just that maybe 0.01% of available people for the jobs he needed are actually good people. Swamp is swamp.
