Old timer from my Fire station got his 2nd part of the Vaccine yesterday. He didn't wake up this morning.

Im heartbroken. Nicest guy around. Im younger and he told me stories of the old days while he slept the floors and cleaned up during the day. This hits too close to home. I wasn't going to take the vaccine regardless but if anyone here was considering it please rethink it.

Meh, just get the coof and have natural immunity.
If you're under 50, it's the better way to go. I've had it and it's no big deal. The first 3 days was bad, but not life threatening. Afterwards, you'll gradually get better. The recovery is much longer than usual cold/flu though. Took around 10 days to get back to normal.

I had pertussis. That took months to recover from.

Same for me. I’m a very healthy 44 year old, except I smoke and drink, but fit still. Anyway, I had it and lost smell and taste, little bit of a headache and some eye pain, no cough or anything. Was fatigued for about 12 days. Still haven’t got all of my taste and smell back and that was about a month ago.

I'm at your age range.
I was fatigued for about 2 weeks and couldn't workout.
Didn't lose my smell or taste, but it did have weird neurological effect on me. The usual signals such as hunger, constipation, full, thirst felt very different. It went away after the 2 weeks period for me.

No cough or sore throat at all? Is that pretty uncommon?

Nope none. I don’t know. I haven’t met many other who have had it. None of my family got it. I never tested for it though, so I assume it was covid from the eye pain, loss of smell and taste, fatigue and the shortness of duration.

The most important thing is to take treatment: https://covidreport.net/
