Old timer from my Fire station got his 2nd part of the Vaccine yesterday. He didn't wake up this morning.
Im heartbroken. Nicest guy around. Im younger and he told me stories of the old days while he slept the floors and cleaned up during the day. This hits too close to home. I wasn't going to take the vaccine regardless but if anyone here was considering it please rethink it.

Both Pfizers and Moderna's are mRNA vaxxes, which enter your cells.
Novavax's is not mRNA, but is more traditional. It's still in phase 3, with reported 89% effectiveness. No freezing required. I read it should come to market by March.
Ocugen's vax is used now in India. Traditional, no freezing. 60-80% effective. Everyone also is sent a package with ivermectin for prophylactic. I don't know when it'll come to USA.
Keep an eye out for FDA approval of leronlimab. Prayerfully soon.
Problem is that many are being pressured by employers, family, etc. to get vaxxed now.
Why can't they just frequently test them--

I'll have to do more research, but I don't necessarily have an issue with taking a traditional vaccine. Most people (not here) don't realize that the Moderna and Pfizer covid vaccines are the first mRNA vaccines ever available for public consumption. They're literally experimental chemicals.
Big Pharma has been trying to develop mRNA vaccines for SARS, MERS and other RNA viruses for decades but have never been successful.
