I have heard his name pop up in my feed often and I wanted to do some digging more about the man.

If in the end Trump does not run in 2024 (which I hope he does) is DeSantis a viable candidate we can all get behind? Ever since Nov. 3rd I am weary of any Republicans now, as I have come to the conclusion that a lot of those people are not on our side. I am more of an advocate of a 3rd party being created. And in the end, I believe this is the path that needs to happen in order to get people who we put in office to actually care about what they are doing.

I have become more interested because I just got a new job down there and I am planning on moving as we speak.

I will do my own research into this, myself but I was wondering if any of you know of some details I may not be aware of (good or bad) that I should keep in mind.

Yes, because he is not afraid to do shit......He uses common sense and has saved Florida from complete devastation..........he is anti mask to boot....He put into law running over Antifa if they protest on the road without being charged as well as shooting them if they commit felony in your area without charge...The man cares!

Am I Missing Something?

The something you're missing is that the 2020 election was rigged, and all future elections from here on out will be rigged too.

Yea .. unless we do something about that.

And it’s a big thing to be missing!

DeSantis cleaned up the local mass election fraud. He never went covid Nazi. He doesn't suffer the media idiots. Those are the most noticeable things I've seen from afar in TX. We need more details from Florida pedes. He's looking good to me. Every time I've begun to think Bearded Cruz has potential, he pulls a Lindsey Graham. DeSantis/Noem is sounding good, if GEOTUS doesn't want to run again.

Him and Noem would be a badass ticket. If both of them live up to their promises that sounds more .. and more .. desirable.

He's a good reason to move to FL.

I got a new Engineering job down there, and that is why I am moving.

Having a governor that is not going to go full on Commie on me is a good thing to know.

I am coming from South Carolina.

As a Floridian for the last 16 years, welcome!

Everyone wants to win us over, they know our power

whether you want to support the gop that betrayed Trump and only know how to complain, that is up to you

And that is the issue I don't want to find myself in. As I said I would vote for a 3rd party who has Conservative values and backed what Trump stood for in a heartbeat. And I would do that over any Republican. The issue is I am not sure if the Patriot Party is going to be fully operational by 2024, and I hope there is someone else in the meantime that can fill that void. The little things I have heard about DeSantis have been all positive. And so if everything that the man stands for is 100% on the money then I am thinking this might be a backup plan. I just need to make sure about this.

Very much so. In some ways, I think I'd rather have DeSantis than Trump. He's younger, less abrasive while still making leftists look like idiots. I've been adamant for a while that Trump may have started the MAGA movement, but he won't be its final evolution.

4 years is a long time though, we'll see if he maintains.

Great point. He doesn't suffer stupidity, but he doesn't blast it on Twitter. Now I, and a lot of us, absolutely love when Trump puts some retard bullshit on blast via Twitter. There are a lot though, that didn't like that, because they're thin skinned faggots.

This is true, we have to wait and see how things play out.

In my opinion, he's Trump, common sense, no bullshit businessman.

Desantis is the best Gov. we have had. If it wasn't for him my wife and I would have beat feet back in November. People like him are going to be the ones to save this country.
