It wasn't this bad, but it is getting worse now. The stickied posts were at least topical and even though they were mostly memes, they didn't need context most of the time. Now, I come in and every other stickied post and post in the front page are basically contextless posts with just a meme that describes nothing, and a vague title. It is seriously degrading the quality of discussion here and the quality of this place as a whole.
