This is so damn true. Though I feel people are finally seeing through this shit, or at least giving less a damn. For the longest time I wore no mask exept at my place of work to walk around once a week. Then came the crackdown in November after a Halloween spike here in PA. I started wearing a mask to only required places and it angered me constantly to the point of anxiety I've never felt. You know, fight mode. I felt a Karen would set me off and ending up in a holding cell could result in work termination. I have kids and a single dad so I begrudgingly comply only where necessary. If I had zero little mouthes I'd be balls out. Anyway, my girlfriend and I finally bought a home after months of searching. Our agent gives no shits if we wear masks at showings. I walked the deposit check into the selling agency today and no masks. I was in awe. Girl at the counter and people walking around even though they had a sign on the door. I said "you guys kick the masks here?" The girl snickered and said "we're pretty relaxed". Took mine off and we had a nice short chat. I've noticed it most in small businesses. They just don't give a damn. Hopefully the scared get their experimental vaccine and this shit can be over. I want my house and Im setting up shop with everything I need and can continue my evolution to spiteful, bitter old man.
