You hit the nail on the head. I wish Trump's lawyers would have used some of what you said, like, for months we watched as politicians bailed out rioters and encouraged their actions, etc. This created a breeding ground for contempt and fueled a lot of anger. I think this would have been a good preview of how we came to Jan. 6th. Now I fully believe that those who busted stuff up in DC should be held accountable on their own for their own actions and not pin this whole charade on Trump.
