If minimum wage had no impact on jobs as some leftists like to claim, why stop at $15? Let's make it $1,000,000/h... Oh... that's right... because the whole "it doesn't cost jobs" is literally lies.
There's so much going on but it's essentially good vs. evil if you want to break it down. Cicero has a good quote that pertains to a lot of the government decisions that are going on these days:
"Though liberty is established by law, we must be vigilant, for liberty to enslave us is always present under that very liberty. Our Constitution speaks of the "general welfare of the people." Under that phrase all sorts of excesses can be employed by lusting tyrants to make us bondsmen." - Cicero
Almost all these laws designed to "help us" are simply taking our freedom away and not truly benefiting us.
Why can't we give the green liberals and their ilk those solar jobs for a basic monthly wage- say🤔 pay them the same $900/ month seniors on SS get with the same healthcare and taxes?
They can be sent to clean up beaches, woodlands, roadsides that are littered with trash that reeks of global warming!!!
Isn't 15$ an hour just another way for the mega corporations to destroy all competition and buy everything up? They can take the temporary financial hit (if any with their banker and political helpers).
This makes no logical sense. Don't get me wrong. I think that 15 bucks is a joke with this cost of living and don't even get me started on social security for us old folks. It's like a drunken monkey decides economics in this country using a Ouija board. Even at 15 your standard of living is no where near what it was in 1970. Go figure. The reason is what the reason has always been, except now the doors to the club are closed. You don't get to crawl out of poverty through creativity and hard work anymore.. Now it's about patronage and profit at any cost.So what happens when Chinese want the same salary? Nobody can afford the 300 dollar Nike shoes it takes to pay the CEO and share holders so time to close down.

For me it all started when Al Gore won the peace prize!
If raising the minimum wage brought anyone out of poverty why wasn’t this problem fixed the last time they raised it? Or the fifty times before?
