The real irony is, millions of White kids got their first positive image of a Black person from those bottles; a smiling, happy Black woman whom they associate with a favored meal.
Yup, white person here. Can confirm. As a kid Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben's Rice always made me feel like black people were really family oriented and nice loving kind people. But once you realize this is actually specifically the point of leftism, to destroy the nuclear family and invert all that is good because it's literally evil then this all makes sense.
I've actually been wondering if this is some 4D chess move and they just want more brand exposure in China/somewhere else and the old logo and name was holding them back.
I think the Pearl Milling Company is the original flour company that hired Aunt Jemima to be their face (Nancy Green, one of the first black woman entrepreneurs.). Just like with the Native team names, they are "erasing" black images. Uncle Ben was named after a Texas rice farmer (African American) who grew a renowned strain of rice. It's only white liberals who see a black image and think of something horrible.

Black people too. I mean black families related to the pictures, and felt at home with them
Makes sense.

When I heard Aunt Jemima was transitioning I expected to see it become Uncle Jimmy.
A person of color who was proud to be on the box by the way.

There is black pearls too.
Black pearls are more rare, typically larger, and worth more $, unlike the idiots behind this who are going to be bankrupt soon.
