Don't get me started on solar, while it's an energy source it has a lot of caveats.
I have ties to Germany and have been laughing my ass off knowing that snow not to mention lack of light in the winter zero things for solar. Currently living the "Sun Belt" I would have to change the panel angles a minimum of 3 times per year to maximize efficiency. Meanwhile panels are going on on house left and right.
It's all a big farce, they also buy "carbon credits" for using coal to mathematically lower the foot print.
