This is actually still a wrong perspective. That's not what a $15/hr min. wage looks like, that is what it looks like when corporations fool the consumers into working for free to do their own checkout and bagging.
Just to put it into perspective for some of the young folks here. It used to be rather common all throughout places in the USA that not only would people at grocery stores help, they would be friendly and could speak english and you had relationships with the cashiers and a bagger would bag your groceries and even carry them out to your car where you would give them a little tip if you could.
Today, the corporations have not only captured the market, they have you searching through the grocery store for stuff and if you can find someone to help you they often don't even speak english, and then you do below minimum wage labor to check yourself out and carry your own bags to your car.
Tell me again we have made progress.
I get that and that is what I usually do too, but I think you are missing the point. I can assure you that if there were as many qualified high quality cashiers as there are self-checkout machines, you would not be able to compete on time. Just alone because cashiers know how to use their machines, they usually know the produce codes by heart, know where the barcodes are, etc.
What you are actually doing is comparing yourself to a bad cashier and to intentionally and artificially created long lines at checkout PRECISELY so you will be duped into essentially working for free. Why pay a cashier when us fools will do the checkout work ourselves. The rent seeking class has more yachts and more mansions in more places because we are like "I just want to get in and out", while you are also being taxed to pay for the welfare and subsidies to support the laid off cashiers and the foreign nationals being imported to undermine the American middle class even more .
If people like you don't get that basic dynamic and the tricks and herding you are being subjected to without you even realizing you are being herded like cattle, then none of this "resistance" stuff will matter one bit. Cattle in the corral can do all the resisting they want, they're still going to slaughter.
It may be a rather banal discussion due to its specificity, but the bigger point is that you are facilitating a post-human future. No, not from a perspective that the machines and UBI will magically allow people to become artists and other nonsense; but from the perspective of only further moving away from a world where goyim live free and fulfilling lives, where, e.g., you could live a decent life as a cashier or a grocer many years ago.
