High minimum wage sucks. One of the best things about moving to Texas for me was noticing all the nice kids working part time in likely less then $15 dollar jobs.
These kids do a nice job - and it is not meant to support their entire life. Gives them something to put on their resume proving they can show up on time and follow directions.
Almost everyone would choose to checkout with these people over the machine - its a real value add. Also they will pack your bag for you if you want.. Makes the store nicer..
Minimum wage should be illegal. If people want to work - and you want to pay them how is it a problem? How can internships be "legal" and being paid less then "$15" an hour be illegal.
If some kid wants to get some exercise after school moving shopping carts to the front of the store - why should the government be able to block that? It's pure BS and hopefully we can use crypto to end this shit..
All these government types that use "internships" have no issues with high minimum wage. Its not just hypocritical - it should be illegal if our Supreme Court had any balls.. But they do not.
