Some Quakers did own slaves. See link above and the journal of John Woolman. The Quakers did stop the practice earlier than most others and became ardent abolitionists.
Thanks for the info. They were KNOWN for staunchly being against racism...like most abolitionists, they may have owned slaves at one point. So op is still a bundle of sticks
