The Biggest Clowns are the GOP Senators who are posturing like Big Heros for opposing the impeachment of an ex-President - when if they had chosen to take action against the Big Steal a mere two Months ago, they could have been opposing the impeachment of a SITTING President instead.
I think the plan is to give the Republicans some meat to grandstand upon. The uni-party makes the Communist Party go wild on Trump, the Republicans can hold their great speeches, then they heroically avert he ridiculous and pointless impeachment. Republicans reclaim the benefit of the doubt from their voters (given the heat they are currently receiving), and the machine goes on.
And they are laughing their asses of to all the theatrics.
Or the Republicans say you are unthankful for their honorable service, and throw Trump under the bus and let him get impeached (whatever that means at this point) in order to punish YOU for your insolence of doubting their integrity.
