I feel like the children of the cultural revolution were actually starving, though (I could totally be wrong).

Also, Americans aren't the Chinese of the 1950s. Every time we've actually challenged antifa, they back down because they are spaghetti armed noodle boys and dyed hair land whales.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if that fight really does come, I think it will turn out differently for them this time.

Not that they wouldn't try another way after that fails, of course.

nope. you're thinking great leap forward. by the late 1960s they weren't starving during the cultural revolution. those kids were brainwashed by chairman mao zedong to purge their parents, teachers, and pretty much every smart person in their communities because mao was paranoid about smart people overthrowing him. he used the word purge ambiguously and encouraged the kids to think up ways to terrorize and scare the locals.
