"The sources, who spent time with Trump, said he was particularly incensed with the effort thus far by his attorney Bruce Castor. Trump believes Castor gave a rambling opening argument, they said. Castor’s 45-minute opening remarks were widely panned on social media after he praised the House impeachment managers for a job "well done."
"The American people just spoke and they just changed administrations," Castor said at one point. He said the public is smart enough to "pick a new administration if they don’t like the old one, and they just did."
Rudy is not a dumb-sounding low IQ person, whatever else you want to say about him. Get out of here with that.
I used to love Rudy, but he’s been a net-negative for Trump. It seems like everything he says and does creates unnecessary ammo for the other side. Given how many people have stabbed trump in the back at the last second, and where our country currently is; that Rudy probably shouldn’t get our praise anymore.
I agree he has probably been a net negative and you're right that he gives unnecessary ammo. I do think Rudy is one of the few who has not stabbed Trump in the back though and I do think Rudy genuinely wants to support Trump. He's just been a little reckless and ineffective in that effort unfortunately.
When Rudy talks he stammers and isn't articulate. He doesn't come off as a passionate intelligent speaker. Trump needs a person that has those qualities and is a little charismatic too boot...Listen to Rudy in court then go listen to say Lin Wood when he dropped in on that call about his donation..Wood was all of the above adjectives. I'm not saying Lin is like the best or anything just saying listen to him convey his point....its night and day of intelligent versus daft. Anyone person listening would have said Wood knows his legal knowledge very well and had clean a delivery of the facts that was very well articulated and intelligently spoken...
