That's a lie. It's not going to lift anyone out of poverty. He's eventually going to remove the Trump tax cuts which are going to cause people to now pay more taxes because they have a higher salary. So case in point; the average American worker will end up working harder because businesses everywhere will be unable to support having more staff and they will not make much more than what they have now. Also, employees that started out at minimum wage, have already been working for an organization for many years, and have received wage increases to surpass $15 are going to get screwed.
