So legally speaking they got the election certified, so in legal terms the election was voted to be legit. I mean if Congress certifies it then that’s it, that’s how the system works. They don’t need to impeach Trump for legal certification reasons.
But that doesn’t solve the problem that half the country thinks it wasn’t because the fraud is too obvious, and they think congress intentionally certified a most likely false election result. People want to go on about the details to further prove it, but you can tell just by looking at the nonsensical historical statistical anomalies in the results themselves which can’t be covered up. Furthermore, election analysts should have been on TV talking about the amazing records that were broken and how amazing all that was, but they’re not. That also makes no sense, for the media to not be amazed and not talk about being amazed by amazing records being broken.
The election statisticians in the monitoring rooms at the TV networks are going to know immediately what’s wrong but they’re not going to be allowed to talk about it on TV. They’ll get fired, threatened, or whatever if they did try to mention something is very abnormal.
Impeaching trump seems like a pretty stupid idea, but it’s proof that they’re not interested in “bringing the country together”. It’s suggestive that they’re willing to engage in more authoritarian crackdowns against populists, which is not a good sign.
They’re only making things worse.
