The funny thing is, years ago, in my grandmother's time, they called them colored people. Then they decided that was racist and over the years the terms changed from black to African American and now we are back to basically colored people, only they just reversed the wording and say people of color. Then they added the black indigenous people of color (BIPOC) just because I think they realized people of color had gone full circle (Psaki would love how we've circled back!)
