Yeah but black people do it too. Some mother fucker starts wearing Kenta cloth and an African hat and goes around speaking for all of them. How did being black make them all experts on other black people, slavery, Africa, and American History? Put on one of those hats and you become a "respected elder" who is an expert on a whole host of topics that the knows very little about.

Many of them are raised in an environment that encourages outrage against the white man and authority in general and the general lack of father figures leads them to latch onto any older black man who can at least talk the talk.
