Lol now you make me feel old. I lived through them being called colored. Negro was never ok where I was though. It's funny that when "Americans of African descent" was considered respectful every black person I knew preferred to be called black.

Also interesting how black people want to find solidarity with Indians even though Indians owned black slaves.
