The problem with trying to take over the Republican Party is that you already have entrenched weasels with better funding and connections to unseat. If you could truly burn it down completely and build it back up, you'd have a shot at internal integrity, but it would be difficult to take out all the rot at once.
With a rebuilt GOP or a new party, you'd still be opposing a more connected and funded Democrat Party, but at least you'd be opposing them. The alphabet agencies are generally on the side of corruption, and Democrats hold the high ground in local elections (where Republican observers can simply be kicked out, for example).
It's not that any particular idea is bad--its that hundreds of ideas must be implemented simultaneously. If this is to be done without blood, it will have to be a long process with tens of millions of pedes taking direct action at all levels of government.
Can people stay pissed off enough to give that much time and energy to burning out the rot and replacing it with good people? And will those good people stay good when they see that they can enrich themselves at the expense of the country? We're losing because we're not sufficiently involved, and we're at a disadvantage because we want honest government.
All you have to do is go grab a Precinct Committeeman position. There are 400,000 positions. Only 200,000 are taken up presently, half of them swamp, the other half MAGA. There are 200,000 of those positions still open, just waiting to be grabbed. If we fill up the rest of those open positions, we own the GOP completely.
Precinct Committeeman is the shot caller who decides who mans the stations in the GOP party all the way through to who gets to be the candidate for the GOP. And all it requires is a once-a-month meeting on your party.
That's a fantastic start. The number of vacancies shows the relative lack of engagement. There's still the problem of dealing with people at the top, but tens of millions of people remaining engaged can help change the momentum over time.
