I thought it was considered mental instability; the victim of rabies often has had no choice in the matter -- it being purely accidental -- while the possessor of purple hair, hipster glasses (let's make that distinction for our non-20/20 friends) and the like is really a personal choice.
Ehem...meaning the rageboys/girls with the purple hair have a choice not to be crazy fucking purple haired rageboys/girls, and it is their lack of emotional/mental maturity and levelheadedness that makes them the way they are...thus making the progression in logic that anyone they claim as being rabid who are in opposition to them, are, rather like a majority of rabies cases, unwilling participants, merely trying to defend themselves.
Purple hair, glasses, fish lips, and not knowing what gender you are is considered to be rabid to rational folks. What do I know though.
