The Bible says there will be scoffers in the last days saying, "Where is His coming?"
He came the first time 4000 years after the first promise of His coming. Surely, 2000+ years is plausible for His 2nd visit. For an eternal God outside of our time domain 1000s of years aren't much to be considered. The Bible even says all the suffering in our lives here we won't deem worthy of consideration in comparison to what's coming.
However, it certainly is going to be soon. Jesus said when He comes it'll be like the days of Noah. Human genetics compromised, rampant sexual sin, global defiance to God, etc. Daniel's 70th week is coming upon us quickly. Global government, global economy, global religion, all in the works!
