Tesla wonโt likely get the contract - they donโt seem to like Elon and who they slosh money to has little to do with the product or service itself. Will likely be a Chinese company or cars made in China. Also, even the base model Tesla is close to a luxury car.
It doesn't matter, all the speculation still will make the stocks go brrrr
Looking at the situation, I'd be more inclined to think that they would use a GM or Ford electric car. Even when Obama was president the vast majority of the stateside federal car fleet was either a Ford, GM, or Chrysler. Every once in a while we saw a Sonata.
But who knows with China Joe; although I don't remember hearing about any Chinese companies manufacturing electric cars. Not saying that they aren't, but I just don't remember it.

How about an EO banning all Federal employees, elected officials, agency's and anyone else on the taxpayer dime from using Twitter in any official capacity.
And another EO to refund to the American taxpayer all the Ad dollars made by Twitter on these accounts.
Twitter is not a utility, and the government already has their own servers to publish information - paid for by the US taxpayer.
