they can be fairly "boomer-ish". I don't like the term boomer cause I don't have a problem with boomers. I'll take ten baby boomers over 1 millenial.
Boomers biggest crimes typically is going along with evil out of ignorance. I'll take that over millenials who usually do it knowingly. I'm speaking as a millenial myself being 28. I'm not saying that's the case every time, but the way I see it, millenials are the "true believers" in things like socialism and whatnot, and most boomers just get sucked in because they only read MSM and whatnot.
But I digress. Babylon Bee is slightly "boomerish" for lack of a better word due to their belief that sometimes seeps through that "Christians should always be in the middle politically" cause that's what would be reconciliatory, or that "the middle is where rational people are".
You can tell they often hold that. It's absurd for obvious reasons, and I say that as a Christian. Imagine being in Nazi Germany and saying "well come on the Nazi's and the people they're throwing in concentration camps should both be made fun of. I mean, let's stay in the middle right? Don't want to take a hardline position here."
Yes babylon bee leans right 90% of the time, but when they do mock conservatives or trump it always rings hollow. The right can be made fun of, but it needs to be rooted in reality to be funny. Ryan Long and Kyle Dunnigan are two people who, though they're predominately conservative, have mocked the right and pulled it off and made it funny. When babylon bee mocks the right it tends to come off more like "hey we're rational guys...can't pigeonhole us".
No one is reading this.
I read it, and I mostly agree except I'm more extreme than him.
Cause of the poor formatting?
I formatted it correctly, then when I made an edit, it screwed up the formatting. Now I fixed it again. It's not long enough to be considered a TL;DR.
