Just started watching. Didn't appreciate it when I when it first came out but love watching it now.

It is amazing how much settlers did during that time period with little to no training but got it done. Makes me feel like a lazy person.

Respect others and hard work ethic are common themes. Wish more shows were like this. Plus men act like men and women act accordingly.... Except the general store woman and her brat daughter.
