I watched this every week as a kid growing up, and then the reruns. Also read every book in the series.

Unfortunately Laura Ingalls Wilder got cancelled a few years back, because apparently she lived in the 1800s, and had an 1800s attitude about culture, or something.

Highway to Heaven was great too.
