I always hated Bruce Springsteen, when he was big I was in 6th grade my older high school age sister and her friends thought he was the bomb whenever they were over playing him I’d just yell ‘TURN THAT GARBAGE DOWN!’
I've been to countless concerts. Front row for U2, and stood literally in front of Prince while he played his guitar at a "secret" midnight concert in a tiny room atop a hotel in NYC.
Best show I've ever seen? Springsteen 4 years ago. 3 hours, 45 minutes, non-stop. Blew out the fuses in the arena, it was so hot.
Hate his politics. But when you're pushing 70 and you can do an all-out rock and roll show that leaves the audience cheering and worn out... you are doing something right.

As a kid I heard the lyrics, "At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet/ And a freight training running through the middle of my head," and thought this guy really needs to go to the ER.

Springsteen sucked ever since Nebraska. It's the last album relatable to the average working class stiff.
