I still think things need to be organized from the grassroots, but there's a certain thing going on now... I won't call it a meme. I don't know what to call it. But I've described it as thus: Trump is Dumbledore and the Internet is Hogwarts. Various "Umbridges" have now taken over and are trying to squash every last freedom and pleasure...so we have now found a new pleasure. We mock and undermine their attempts at totalitarianism at every turn. The overton window has shifted and normies have noticed.

IMO, we're on the verge of alt tech taking off like a rocket, but it needs a few things: We don't just need to be able to speak about politics freely. We need escapes and relaxation. Gab is starting to make some headway into some non-political groups, but their "explore" page is still filled with politicians and various public figures. And while Catturd gets a lot of attention, that's not enough.

I like how Rumble, for example, allows political freedom (and thus anyone who is there knows exactly why they are there), but they always make sure the first thing you see is an adorable critter video. Gab and Parler need some of that.

Also, on the same token, we need more media than just informational and news. Conservatives tend to make books and video games because they can be made in one's garage with not much overhead, but people want to be able to veg on the couch in front of a TV and tune out the world. We need movies and shows. I really don't know where to start with that, but I think it would make an enormous crack in the media's power if people didn't have to to turn to the likes of Disney and Netflix for a family movie night. Imagine...a well produced TV drama that didn't suddenly have characters turning gay 2 seasons in. Imagine that! (Until we manage to organize that, anime can fill the hole.)

Now, on the more "official" side of things, there's still fights to be had. Arizona is an ongoing project, as are other states. Their election problems can be cleaned up, so long as people keep the pressure on. (And so far, they are!) The Convention of States is getting attention again after being pretty much forgotten in 2020 due to the scamdemic. (They made a ton of progress in 2019.) State legislatures suddenly realize they may have untapped power, and that will get attention, one way or another.

☝☝ I've been misguided in my understanding of the big picture but I've never done well with appeals to authority. I respect someone for their actions, not their words. I remember being told to never be a follower, always think things through for yourself, admit when you're wrong and correct your faults. None of this had anything to do with politics or religion, this was considered 'western philosophy' In 20 years that education has been changed to comply for the greater good.

One of the things I've been meaning to do, is buy an old dictionary, because the online dictionaries change the definitions of words all the time. The question I have is, from what year? I'm thinking the older the better, but I still would want some modern words in there as far as tech and whatnot. 70s? 80s? Thinking of combing through some local donation sites, like salvation army, lions club, etc. Any other suggestions?

You can find them on ebay. I have one printed in 1920 that was the 1905 edition and it's glorious.

websters1913.com will give you a good flavor for that vintage of dictionary. By the time they were making dictionaries in the 80s and 90s, the Marxists were already making inroads in the language.

The thing about resistance is that in many ways, it is a better tactic for conservatives than it ever was for liberals. Sanctuary cities and states move power from the federal government to more local government which conservatives want anyway. Any successful resistance also inherently reduces the power of the central government. In general this is a win for those of us who want to diminish the power of the central government anyway. There is a lot of defacto upside to becoming ungovernable so take your joy in small victories

We have lost certain opportunities and gained new ones. Where we go from here depends on how we recognize and capitalize the opportunities that we have right now.

One of the best opportunities is that of "the noble opposition". There are bad things that the government has done for 50 years, things that 90% of the people can agree are bad. Make the illegal administration take the blame for continuing these things!

Ask "Why are we still at war?" paint that message everywhere you can! Ask why Biden won't acknowledge the Armenian Genocide! Declare to the people the atrocities of the Fed & SEC!

Additionally, we can play dem special interests against each other better now. As bad as the GOP looked infighting during the first 2 Trump years, we can make dems look worse. The 50/50 senate split is the greatest opportunity ever to stymie a legislative agenda.

We need every dem senator to hang their votes on special interests that screw over other dem senators. If you're not sure how this works, look at how New Jersey, with a solid dem majority and a dem mayor still havent managed to legalize weed, making them all look like fools.
