☝☝ I've been misguided in my understanding of the big picture but I've never done well with appeals to authority. I respect someone for their actions, not their words. I remember being told to never be a follower, always think things through for yourself, admit when you're wrong and correct your faults. None of this had anything to do with politics or religion, this was considered 'western philosophy' In 20 years that education has been changed to comply for the greater good.
