The best part about Luke showing up is that it pissed off Darth Kennedy and her feminazi story group. They're literally blaming Favreau and Filoni for having Luke in their show and stealing the thunder from their shitty High Republic comics.
So true...much of the show (there's still some WAHMEN to it but it's much better presented) is a huge fuck you to the other part of the co. running the movie trilogy. And the ending reinforces it. Luke is a badass who should be handled with respect.
"Huge" is probably an overstatement, but it cannot be understated how seriously dumb those trilogy movies are. This is silly but at least watchable. The movies just on their face are f'ing dumb and any reasonable person can tell.

I know I'm in the minority, but it's not that good. It's okay, but it bored me.
Samurai Jack is way better if you're looking for something similar.
The reboot was even good.
Star Wars fans just enjoyed it because it's not a complete dumpster fire like the Disney Trilogy.
Oh I know that. The show was just slow moving and felt like filler. It's like they stretched one season's worth of story into two seasons.
The last half of season 2 was what I expected from the whole thing.
It felt like this over and over to me.
