Problem is, third parties ALWAYS FAIL in the US. Theres a reason the Green Party exists, and its not serious run for office. Its to use a wedge issue to splinter the vote. Same with American Socialists, Marijuana Party, etc. All pick singular issues to run on, pulling votes from, usually the Democrats, but only in primaries. After that it becomes "vote democrat if you're a leftist or GOP wins". They once in a while allow an outsider to run as one of them like Bernie to fake "competition" they're really just going to rig with "Superdelegates". You have to REPLACE not COMPETE. Maybe if you're lucky you can convince half the GOP voters to move to your new party but the other half fears the unknown and refuses to vote anything but (R). You're simply not getting 70m people to just abandon the GOP and go to this "Lion Party" or whatever.
