Monkey Werx Overwatch watched a presidential plane flying yesterday, leaving from DC and headed east into the Atlantic. It was not "labeled" AF1 or AF2, which usually means the president is not on board. He won't update again until friday, but I thought that was strange....
Anything the president flys on is considered airforce one. Now, I refuse to call Biden our president and who knows what’s going to happen but it’s never technically mattered what plane it was, if president was on it, it was airforce one.
Close. Depends on which branch the aircraft belongs to. If he is on a Marine helicopter it’s Marine One. Goes for a joy ride in a Navy F18? Navy One. If he is on a civilian aircraft it’s Executive One. Family on board but no President? Executive One Foxtrot. Just some fun info for ya.
