Try going maskless in a mask mandated area. Your own community members and businesses turnnon you to become authoritarian taking away your fresh air and treating you like a child or delinquent. You don't know how far along we are until you try it yourself. You don't know how many freedoms we have lost until you say "no thanks".

First, may I include that there were more than the "yellow star". https://www.holocaustcenter.org/visit/library-archive/holocaust-badges/ Also, the badges weren't just for Jews. . Going maskless is not in my opinion equal since you are questioning authority. Authority by people who have little or no education concerning the problem. For the most part, they are people who are the equivalent of being chosen to pick the best pie or pumpkin at a fair (regardless of town, state or US Congress).
The same applies to those who are giving the above advise. Reference the change in attitude regarding Hydroxy w/zinc. Now it's OK.
The people who make these rules have no idea what to do, basically and they are scared (though them may not admit it, even to themselves).
Keep asking them why and challenge their answers, ask for proof. Most are only doing what they are told to do.
Thanks for that link. Interesting read. An excerpt, they could be talking about masks here: The German government’s policy of forcing Jews to wear identifying badges was but one of many psychological tactics aimed at isolating and dehumanizing the Jews of Europe, directly marking them as being different (i.e., inferior) to everyone else.
I do agree, we need to start questioning hard and frequently.
Thank you for reading and replying. We are in agreement which is encouraging.
Just today here in Montana, the state mandate for masks is being repealed. Questions have arisen this morning about how/who will supervise (enforce) the new NON mandate though.
Business' will have the option to enforce there own mask mandate it appears.
It was/is a good question. It never ends does it?
