The typical justification for mail is voting usually something along the line of “but the nearest polling station is so far away!!!!” or maybe “but I’ll be in another country!!!”
Here’s what I have to say about that
Too fucking bad. It’s one day at the end of the year. It’s happened on the exact same day every year reliably for over 200 years. You know when Election Day is. Take a day off and enjoy a little road trip and don’t make plans that will interfere with your ability to show up in person.
regarding military vote by "mail".
Upon receipt, their ballots are transcribed to actual state ballots for tabulation. The ballots that they send are supposed to be attached or kept with the transcribed ballots for later validation if required. This did not happen in all states.
Well the military apparently unanimously voted for Biden so it doesn't matter.
Apparently they were in a hurry to see more of their buddies blown to pieces by IED's on the opposite side of the Earth.
Thank you for the reply. You may have missed my point or I may have presumed that everyone read about the military ballot results (overall, but most importantly in states where the military is/was presumed to be heavily in favor of President Trump).
I 'm referring, most recently to Carolina where the majority of votes went to Biden, something akin to 100 to 3. This was posted several places and times as being ridiculous. (consider it as a mil base personal reply of their own exit polls)
The inference here is that the mil ballots were transcribed for tabulation, but the original mail in ballot was NOT kept attached. This makes a hand tabulation useless.
Also, there is no way to count the re-written for tabulated votes against the actual votes that were counted/tabulated (machine counted). There could be more votes counted then were actually cast by mail.
This leads to a presumption of vote changing. Regardless of that, voting integrity was voided. This is little more than the misuse of mil ballots, something that has been alluded to for many elections, favoring dems.
What to do? Disregard all non accompanying original mail in votes?
Either way, the current vernacular of choice is ... voter suppression and likely vote fraud.
