Gonna hijack this comment a little to say if any technical Pede can create an app for us it would help make it (the fight) a lot easier.
If millions of us had it and it allowed us to help organize and communicate on a local level, while still keeping us connected country-wide, we could do so many more things.
As an example.....part of the app could let us advertise our businesses locally, helping us to wean ourselves off the big corporate stores.
a community ran quick reference resource library with an edit history/log...could double as an faq. Also a basic means of communication with optional filtering components.

I’m a Dev and have various ideas for apps/sites. I like this idea. What other sort of things would people like to see?
