Islam and Muslim countries are right about a lot shit. When the west destroys itself, the Islamic countries will rule the world. They know how to preserve a society because they recognize the elements that are poisonous.

But... people question: "Why do we have to outlaw this cultural rot? Did G-d really say not to eat this fruit?" And it goes downhill from there.
Islam tends to be more strident. While Jews and Christians might say: "No, we don't literally put out the eye for an eye. We'll do financial compensation and not go overboard to some kind of blood feud." The Muslims will say: "Heck yeah, take out the damn eye!"
Is it preferable? Dunno. I think they got plenty of rot too. Heard of military stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan and having to come to terms that they rape boys.
Right in what sense? It is a cultural technology and if the fundamentalist is here in 500 years but the enlightened secular humanist is gone, whose approach was right?
