Don’t get too excited about that number. They funneled some 2 billion into campaign fraud efforts. They would have posted a profit if they hadn’t dumped so much cash on election there
These internet corps are usually extremely bloated and have ridiculous amounts of unproductive diversity hires people employed. Plus, they need huge, hip "campuses" for all these people. Considering they are in the most expensive part of the country that quickly adds up.
On the income side, they themselves fueled a climate where companies are less interested in running ads, which is likely their main income, e.g. due to lockdowns or because one controversy chases another which makes advertisers skittish.
They also took on a lot of venture capital money. That needs to be repaid, with interest, and investors aren't content with they usual interest rates.
Possibly. It would make business sense to boost the numbers of users to advertisers by including banned, shadow banned, frozen users, or just making the figures up entirely (remember TD subscriber count?).
Question is: why are 100 million conservatives still using the communist platforms, and why aren't they broke and out of business? I've been off for 3 years.
Don’t worry, Biden is surely already working on a plan to funnel taxpayer money into the company to keep it from collapsing.
Remember, they helped him win the election by controlling public opinion around voter fraud and suppressing reporting about his son. He owes them, big time.
Rookie numbers. We gotta pump that up.

How does Twitter lose money? Seriously, what is their budget like?
They'd have to maintain servers. Check.
They'd have to have a development team to fix bugs and stuff. Check.
They have to have a moderation team to ban conservatives. Check.
How does that reach a billion dollars? How is this not a few million at most.

The diversty hires are killing me. Can't understand anything they say and can't do anything without help. Not all of them obviously, but way too many.

Gotta find that dark mode ;)

Yet their stock is high. Makes no sense.
I can't figure out how the fuck a company like twitter could spend $1b in a year... wtf do people do there?

Dark mode is your early morning screenshot viewers' friend. 😁
They got a dark mode on Gab? I can't find it nowhere!
Jack will be paying for the anti-American fraud for years.
between twitter/facebook/reddit/instagram they have lost a combined 50B in profit
