I'm in a family business, if we go up to $15 an hour, we're looking at doling out another grand a week, roughly, which we frankly can't afford. That means either people get fired or we sell. I don't like either of those options. Obligatory: Damn the Man

It'll happen. Jobs will be lost and prices will go up. The top brass in companies will NEVER take a hit on their take home money. The cost of higher wages just gets pushed to us.
