And mind you, I'm a huge hiphop fan. I hate new age junk, and although I like Tupac and gangster rap, we can't sit here and pretend hiphop wasn't bad for Black culture as a whole.
Black American culture in the 50s was great. Classy. Clean cut. Intelligent. Respectful. Family oriented.
Not anymore. The fatherless home is far too common.
Being poor too common.
No work ethic, too common.

It's all about culture. I am white, and lived in a 90%+ black neighborhood for some years. Most people were great neighbors.
It was one of the more family oriented streets, where everyone went to work. No losers hanging out on their porches all day long.
. Point is, now, I'm in a mostly white suburb. It's VERY liberal where I am.
I'd rather be around only black Conservatives than be around mostly liberal whites.
To me, everything is about culture, character, and way of life.
And Conservative communities are far better than liberal communities.
I'd like to know what predominantly black city you lived on where crime wasn't through the roof. I've yet to see a single majority black city that has lower crime than even the poorest white city.
If I was black, I'd be so pissed off at what the culture has become.

I truly believe the Gov is partly to blame, along with media and such. Purposely influenced their culture to destroy the black nuclear family.
Black people need to denounce the low class culture, and call themselves something else when they are of a higher class, acting like men and women, being respectful of where they live, working hard, raising kids together, ect.

Haha, wasn't low crime! It was just the specific neighborhood I was in that was nice... Go a quarter mile the other direction and it's shit.
