To be fair, the original tweet was in Spanish, but I think this is a pretty decent translation. The original said agricultores y campesinos. Agricultores definitely translates as farmers, but campesinos could translate as peasants or farmers. Obviously, considering the context, they weren't trying to say "farmers and farmers" it must have been intentional to mean "farmers and peasants". I wonder if he wrote this - I have to assume he knows Spanish.
