Absolute easiest way to come up with an excuse for getting rid of someone: abusing company resources/time. All you have to do is prove they were doing personal shit with company equipment on company time. Bam.
Does literally everyone do it? Yes. Does anyone actually get punished for it? Only if an excuse is needed.
